More than hundred Congress leaders from Kalmahalli village in Nanjangud taluk coming under Varuna Constituency joined BJP under the leadership of Varuna Constituency BJP President Vijaykumar and former Zilla Panchayat Member Kalmahalli Shivakumar. They have intensified campaigning in favour of BJP candidate V. Somanna.
