Cairo: Mysuru lad C. Vasisht, representing India in the $15,000 ITF Egypt F18 Men’s Tennis Tourney in Cairo, on Monday scored a well earned win over Francesco Trepla 7-6 (5), 6-3 in the third and final qualifying round in the Men’s Singles and entered main draw. He will take on Jayesh Pungliya in the first round of the main draw on Wednesday.
In the Men’s Doubles event, Vasisht, teaming up with Tejas Chaukulkar, will take on Anirush Chandrashekar and Aryan Goveas in the pre-quarterfinals slated for Tuesday.
