Vasudevamurthy (87), a resident of J.P. Nagar, passed away yesterday at his residence in city.
A former Shyanbhog of Talawadi Palya village, he leaves behind his wife Balanagamma, five daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamudi Hill today, according to family sources.
