Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha President Vatal Nagaraj, along with his supporters staging a protest this morning against chopping down of hundreds of trees around Lalitha Mahal Palace faor the construction of helipad for the proposed Heli-Tourism. He said that without knowing the rare flora and fauna which are found only around Lalitha Mahal Palace, the authorities had marked hundreds of trees that had to be chopped down, which would prove disastrous for the environment. He urged the Government not to go ahead with Heli-Tourism in the State.
