Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised a veena concert by Vidu. Dr. Suma Sudhindra tomorrow at 6 pm at its premises.
She will be accompanied by Vid. Mathur Srinidhi on violin, Vid. K.U. Jayachandra Rao on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.

Dr. Suma Sudhindra is one of the acclaimed veena artistes of the country today. She was trained by her gurus Vid. Raja Rao and Vid. Chitti Babu.
She has blended into her music, the classical conservatism with the dynamic spirit of innovations. She has performed at prestigious institutions like the Music Academy, the Indian Fine Arts Society, Krishna Gana Sabha. She has widely toured and given performances in United States, United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia. She has also led numerous veena ensembles over the years. She has rendered numerous fusion performances along with Dutch Jazz group Spinifex for many years.
Dr. Suma Sudhindra is the recipient of Karnataka Rajyotsava Award, Kalaimamani Award from the Tamil Nadu Government, Ganakalashree Award from Karnataka Ganakala Parishat, Vainika Kalabhushani from Thyagaraja Ganasabha.
