Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised a veena recital by Vidwan R. K. Padmanabha today (Apr. 28) at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar. He will be accompanied by Vid. P. S. Sridhar (mridangam) and Vid. Sriram Bhat (ghatam). Hailing from a family of famous musicians, Padmanabha is the son of renowned Asthana Vidwan of Mysore royal court R. S. Keshavamurthy. He is an ‘A’ grade artiste in All India Radio and performs regularly in AIR and Doordarshan. He has also performed at the University of South Dakota, USA.
