Mysuru: The disciples of Vid. K.M. Lokeshwara, a renowned Veena artiste from Tumakuru, will be presenting a ‘Veena-Trio’ concert at Mysore Vasudevacharya’s residence, on Sunday (July 26).
Vid. L. Mahesh Prasad, Vid. S. Vishnu Teja and Meghana S. Bhat will be playing on Veena in the concert, while Vid. Sagar accompanies them on Mridanga. The concert, scheduled to start at 10.30 am, is open to all music lovers.

Son of Vid. Lokeshwara, Vid. Mahesh is a dedicated Veena artiste with over two decades of performance experience. He holds an M.A. in Music from Bangalore University, and is currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at Karnataka State Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru.
His musical journey includes performances at several esteemed cultural and spiritual platforms, including the G20 Summit, Bengaluru, and Kannada Sangha, Singapore.
Vid. Vishnu Teja has presented several concerts, including performances as part of the Mysuru Dasara festivities. He pursues classical music alongside his professional career as an Engineer at CISCO.
A student of B.Tech. at PES University, Meghana has participated and won accolades in many competitions. She has performed several concerts along with her Guru in many prestigious sabhas.
Vid. Sagar has learnt Mridanga under Vid. Anjan kumar, Tumakuru, and continues to pursue training in Mridanga and Tabla, under Vid. Sachin Prakash and Vid. Saishiv Lakshmi Keshav, Mysuru. He has accompanied several musicians in concerts, including in performances as part of the esteemed Mysuru Dasara festivities.
Presently, he is serving in Mysore Palace Police Band, associating as a percussionist.
