Mysuru: Veteran journalist and Rajyotsava awardee R.S. Chakravarthy (94) passed away here on Friday. He was the first President of Dharwad District Working Journalists Association. He has worked as a reporter of Prajavani-Deccan Herald at Hubballi.
He leaves behind three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here today.
