Victory procession for golfer Pranavi tomorrow

Mysuru: Pranavi Urs, who became the first Indian women to win a gold medal in golf at recently held Asian Games 2026 in Japan, will be accorded a grand welcome in city tomorrow (Oct. 7).
She will be taken in a procession from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate, to Mysore Race Club (MRC), where she will address the media.
On her arrival at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Pranavi will be felicitated by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar before flagging-off the procession at 11 am.
Later, the procession will pass through Devaraja Urs Road, JLB Road, M.G. Road, before culminating at MRC premises.
Following the media briefing, she will visit the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC).
