Vid. MJS Memorial Concert on May 21 and 22

Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha is organising Vid. M.J. Srinivasa Iyengar (MJS) Memorial Concert on May 21 and 22 titled ‘Veena Gana Sambhrama.’

The event is sponsored by students and family members of MJS, an ardent teacher of veena training innumerable students who are leading in the field today.

May 21 (6 pm): Vid. Srivani Yalla from Hyderabad is going to perform on Veena. She will be accompanied on mridanga by Tumkur B. Ravishankar and Sharath Kaushik on ghata.

May 22 (6 pm): Dr. Suma Sudheendra from Bengaluru is going to enthrall the audience through her Veena Recital. Pradeshacharya on violin, Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma on mridanga & S.N. Narayana Murthy on  ghata will be the accompanists.
