Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, has organised a Karnatak classical vocal concert by Vidu. Anupama Sreemali at 6 pm on Monday (Jan. 29) at Jayanagar Ramamandira in city.
She will be accompanied by Vidu. Dr. M.A. Jyothi on violin, Vid. V. Raghunandan Bhargav on mridanga and Vid. P.S. Kumar on ghata.
Profile: Vidu. Anupama is a disciple of Karnataka Kalashri Vidu. Jambu Kannan and is a recipient of many awards and titles like ‘Outstanding Musician’ from Sheshadripuram Cultural Organisation, ‘Best Musician’ from Bangalore Gayana Samaja. Anupama excelled in academics and holds a PG and M.Phil degree in Music She has performed in many prestigious sabhas and has also proved her talent as a Radio and TV artiste.
