Vidu. H.S. Mahalakshmi (86), a renowned Karnatak music vocalist and a resident of Siddarthanagar, passed away yesterday morning in city following a heart attack.
A spinster, she leaves behind her family members, relatives, friends and a host of students.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday evening.
