Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev, teaming up with Japanese Keisuke Mumajri and taking part in the Vietnam F 3 Futures 15,000$ tennis tournament in Vietnam from Nov. 20 to Nov.26, lost in the semi-finals in the men’s doubles event on Friday. Third seeded pair of Jssei Okamura (Jpn) and Shunriu Takashima (Jpn) beat Mysuru’s S.D. Prajwal Dev and Keisuke Numajri (Jpn) 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-finals.
In the earlier round, Prajwal and Keisuke beat Sergey Boitor (Rus) and Ivan Mikhaylyuk (Rus) 6-3, 6-7(5) 10-6. In the first round, the Indo-Japanese duo beat Mysuru lad C. Vasisht and Jayesh Pungalya 6-2, 6-2. In the men’s singles first round, Yuichi ITO (Jpn) beat C. Vasisht 6-2, 6-4 to progress further.
