Vigilance Awareness Week: Elocution competitions held

Students seen with teachers and BEML staff during the Vigilance Awareness Week observed at Seshadripuram Independent Pre-University College in city recently.

Mysuru: Seshadripuram Independent Pre-University College, Mysuru, in association with BEML, Mysuru, observed Vigilance Awareness Week in the College seminar hall on Oct.24. An awareness programme was organised where the students took an oath to make India a corruption-free nation. 

Muralidhar DGM, BEML, addressing the students, spoke about the ironic state of India, which is one among the corrupted nations.

To mark the occasion, an elocution competition was conducted for the students on the topic  “Public participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption to build a corruption free nation.” 

T.P. Nikhil., Senior Manager BEML, Sudhir, Assistant Manager, BEML, B.M. Gururaj, Assistant Manager, BEML,  Manuraghavendra, Assistant Professor, Seshadripuram Degree College, Prof. K. Sowmya Erappa, Principal, Seshadripram Degree College  and N. Archana Swamy, Principal, Seshadripuram Independent Pre-University College, were present along with lecturers and students.

Participants as well as audience taking an oath during the Vigilance Week organised by BEML in association with Vidya Vikas Institutions.

At Vidya Vikas Institutions

BEML in association with Vidya Vikas Institutions too organised an Elocution competition on Oct.21 as part of Vigilance Week.  

Around 75 students from  Vidya Vikas Institutions participated actively on the topic  “Role and Responsibility of Public in Eradicating Corruption”  and won several prizes in English and Kannada.

The participants as well as the audience took an integrity pledge to eradicate corruption and pave way for a clean and transparent India.
