Mysore/Mysuru: Samatha Adhyayana Kendra has invited entries from young writers and poets for Dr. Vijaya Dabbe Memorial State-level ‘Lalitha Prabandha’ (Light essay or Lyric essay) and Poetry contests.
Women writers in the age group of 20 to 40 years can take part in essay contest while youths in the age group of 20 to 35 years can take part in poetry contest.
The essay should not exceed 1,500 words and only one poem is allowed in respect of poetry contest. The essay/poems should not have been published/ circulated in the past. The entries, apart from the essay or poem (written or typed on only one side of a page), should be attached with a copy of SSLC marks card or Aadhaar card.
There will be three prizes in each contest (1st prize – Rs. 5,000, 2nd – Rs. 3,000 and 3rd – Rs. 2,000). The last date for sending entries is Mar. 15.
