Nanjangud: With Assembly election date fast approaching, campaigning by candidates of various political parties has reached a peak in the constituency.
State BJP Yuva Morcha General Secretary B.Y. Vijayendra campaigned on behalf of BJP candidate Harshavardhan in various villages of the taluk yesterday.
Vijayendra campaigned in Debur, Haggadahalli, Shiramalli, Hullahalli, Malkundi, Hallare, Hura, Kasuvinahalli, Hosapura, Muddahalli, Kurahatti, Basavattige, Devanur, Navilur, Badanavalu and other villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijayendra assured that the BJP election manifesto was aimed to protect the interests of all categories of people.
BJP leaders Kautilya Raghu, BJP candidate Harshavardhan, Subbanna, Kendagannappa and others were present.
