Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Shilpi Agarwal launched ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ at a programme organised in front of the City Railway Station here on Dec.16.

Speaking on the occasion, Shilpi Agarwal said that the programme is all about reaching out the Union Government schemes to economically weaker sections and other targeted beneficiaries.

Pointing out that such a programme helps in educating and sensitising the public on  Government schemes and programmes, she called upon the beneficiaries to avail all benefits that are due to them under the schemes.

A few beneficiaries, who also spoke, explained how they made use of the schemes and availed benefits.

SBI Main Branch Manager Jayanthi said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra publicity vehicle will tour different parts of the city for 15 days in order to sensitise the public on Government schemes.

Lead Bank Manager V.N. Nagesh, SBI Regional Manager Prabhakar Malya, AGM Vishwanath, SBI Ashoka Road Branch Manager Sundaresh, P.V.S. Ranganath and others were present.
