Villagers demand clearing of compound to facilitate completion of road work

Mysore/Mysuru: Residents of KHB Colony and Belavadi village have urged authorities to clear the compound built on a road by a private individual so that the ongoing road work between KHB Colony and Belavadi is completed soon.

In their memorandum to Chief Minister and Hootgalli City Municipal Council (CMC) Commissioner, the residents have said that about 80% of road works have already been completed and urged them to facilitate the completion of the road work by clearing the compound which is halting the progress of the road work.

A local resident Rajaram (Gopalrao) has constructed a compound across road between KHB colony and Belavadi even though a 220 KV power line passes through the road.

The compound is obstructing the proposed UGD and road works, causing inconvenience to public who want to commute.

The public in their memorandum submitted to the CMC Commissioner have urged him to clear the compound and allow the contractor to complete the pending road works.
