Mysuru: Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies (KIKS) and Bharathi Prakashana had organised a function at B.M.Shree Auditorium in Manasagangothri here recently to release the book ‘Vimarsha Sahitya-1’ edited by Dr. H.T. Shylaja.

Releasing the book, litterateur Dr. G.R. Channabasappa opined that a good critic without any prejudice should review the contents of a book and not the author or any other person. He commended the effort of Dr. Shylaja, daughter of renowned critic Dr. H. Thipperudraswamy in compiling her father’s literary critiques.

Critic Dr. O.L. Nagabhushanaswamy recalled the literary prowess of Dr. Thipperudraswamy. KIKS Assistant Professor Dr. N.K. Lolakshi, Publisher B.N. Srinivas and others were present.
