Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City and District Brahmin Association had organised Vipra Sammilana at a convention hall in Vishweshwaranagar here recently.
Pejawar Seer Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, who inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp said, “Brahmin community should remain united and get organised. The recently held protest is the best example for this. We should also be an example for our children and follow our traditional values and culture. But unfortunately, our children, seem to be totally immersed and lost in gadgets and other modern devices. There seems to be least regard for real values and dignity.”
Junior Pontiff of Datta Peetham Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji, Sri Karyam of Parakala Mutt Venkatanathan, Bhashyam Swamiji of Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple, MLA S.A. Ramdas, MUDA Chairman H. V. Rajeev, former MLC G. Madhusudhan, BJP City President T.S. Srivatsa, Mysuru City and District Brahmin Association President D.T. Prakash and others were present.
