The District Administration, in association with the Department Kannada and Culture and Vishwakarma Jayantyotsava Samiti, has organised Vishwakarma Jayanti on Sept.17 at 12 noon at Kalamandira in city. Sri Vishwakarma Mahasamsthana Mutt Seer Sri Shiva Sugnana Theertha Mahaswamiji will grace the occasion. District Minister V. Somanna will inaugurate. MLA L. Nagendra will preside over the programme. Zilla Panchayat (ZP) President Parimala Shyam and Vice-President M.V. Gowramma Somashekar, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, Taluk Panchayat (TP) President Kalamma Kemparamaiah and Vice-President N.B. Manju, MPs, MLAs and others will be the chief guests.
