Mysore/Mysuru: Vishwamanava Day (birth anniversary of Poet Laureate Kuvempu) will be celebrated at 11 am on Dec. 29  at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road.

Vishwakarma Amarashilpi Jakanachari commemoration day (Samsmarana Dinacharane) will be celebrated at 11 am on Jan.1, 2026 at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises, under the aegis of Kannada and Culture Department.

Two separate preliminary meetings were held in this regard at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Siddarthanagar on Bannur Road here on Tuesday, which was chaired by Additional DC Dr. P. Shivaraju.

The meetings resolved to celebrate the Jayantis on the respective days in a meaningful manner.
