Visually challenged woman film-maker felicitated

Mysore/Mysuru: Rotary Mysore Midtown, in its weekly meeting held at RCL Hall on JLB Road in city on Aug. 4, felicitated T.V. Aishwarya, with ‘Woman Achiever Award.’

She is a blind film-maker, painter and a rehabilitation counsellor at the Institute for Vision Rehabilitation, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Aishwarya is a visually challenged lady, being a victim to brain fever while she was still pursuing her 3rd year Mass Communication degree. However, her courage and never say die attitude made her to fight back her disability and achieve the impossible. She has made her dream, Film Making Profession, a reality through sheer determination. She has been able to script, direct and produce short documentaries and films. 

She shared her gutsy story with Rotarians, Inner Wheel members and family members. 

Rotary President Rtn. Dr. Ravindranath, Hon. Secretary Rtn. D. Srinivasan, IW Midtown President Asha Mahesh, Hon. Secretary Vimala Nagaraj, Zonal Secretary Rtn. Venkatesh, Vocational Service Director Rtn. Narendra Babu and others were present during the felicitation.
