Vocal concert at Mysore Vasudevacharya’s House

Mysore/Mysuru: Aditi Rao, an 8th-grade student at Portland, USA, and an upcoming vocalist, will be presenting a vocal concert at the residence of Mysore Vasudevacharya in Agrahara on Aug. 3 (Sunday) at 10. 30 am.

She will be accompanied by Vid. Tumkur Yashasvee on violin and  Vid. G. Aravind on mridanga. 

Profiles:  Aditi is a disciple of well-known violinist Vid. Achyutha Rao. She began her musical journey under the guidance of Harini Acharya and gave her first vocal performance at the age of 8 in Portland Balaji Margazhi Utsavam 2020.

She has performed at many places ever since then. She has participated in international vocal competitions and won laurels.

Trained in Vid. Mahadevappa School, Vid. Yashasvee is at present under the tutelage of Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy and Vid. Bhaskar. He has been performing with established artistes for nearly a decade now.

Vid. Aravind, a disciple of N. Sundaraman and the legendary artiste Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman, is a graded artiste of Akashavani. He has been performing alongside senior artistes during the past 15 years in Bengaluru, Chennai and other places.
