Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Thyagaraja Sangeetha Sabha Charitable Trust, Mysuru, has organised a vocal concert by S.K. Hrishikesh Bharadwaj from Bengaluru, at Sri Rama Mandir, Jayanagar, Mysuru, on July 12 at 6 pm.
Instrumental support will be provided by Prithvi Bhaskar, disciple of Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy, on violin, Vid. B.J. Shrinivas, disciple of Vid. H.S. Sudheendra, on mridanga and Dheemantha Bhatta, disciple of Vid. Surali Ganeshamurthy and Vid. Tumkur B. Ravishankar, on ghata.
Artiste’s Profile: Hrishikesh comes from a family deep rooted in traditional values. He had his early music training from Vidwans/Vidushis Ramya, Venkateshamurthy and Sharada V. Shyam and continued further under B.N.S. Murali and Venkataraghavan.
Since 2016, he is under the tutelage of Vid. T.S. Pattabhirama Pandit under Gurukula System. He is a recipient of CCRT scholarship from Government of India and has proven his talent in many prestigious platforms. He is also trained in mridanga by Vid. Sathyakumar.
