Vocal Concert by Vid. Vageesh at Ganabharathi tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi, Mysuru, has organised Karnatak Vocal Concert by Vidwan Dr. K. Vageesh in memory of Sri G.T. Narayanarao (GTN) at Veene Seshanna Bhavana on Adichunchanagiri Road in Kuvempunagar here tomorrow  (July 26) at 6 pm.

He will be accompanied by Vid. Ananthapadmanabha on violin, Vid. N. Vasudev on mridanga and Vid. Sharath Koushik on ghata. Vid. Dr. K. Vageesh hails from the family of the great Vocalist Tiger Varadachar. He learnt classical music from his aunt Vidu. H.S. Mahalakshmi.

Dr. Vageesh is an outstanding student of science from University of Mysore (UoM) and received gold medal. He was awarded Doctorate for his thesis on works of Vid. Muthuswami Dikshitar.

He has performed in many well-known platforms in  India and abroad. Dr. Vageesh was recognised and honoured  by many prestigious institutions.
