Vocal music concert at Ganabharathi on July 8

Mysore/Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised a vocal music concert by Vidushi Divya Giridhar on July 8 (Friday) at 6 pm at Veene Seshanna Bhavana, Kuvempunagar, sponsored by  Muliya Raghavaiah and family.

She will be accompanied by Vidushi Pruthvi Bhaskar on violin, Vidwan H.S. Krishnamurthy on mridanga and Vidwan V.S.  Ramesh on morching.

Profiles

 Vidushi Divya Giridhar received her early music training from Vidu.Veena and Vidu.Vishalakshi and continued with Vid. Shringeri H.S. Nagaraj. Presently she is getting her advanced training in music from Vidushi M. S. Vidya in Bengaluru.

She has secured her PG from Bengaluru University with Gold Medal and she is an ‘A’ grade artiste in Bhadravathi Akashvani.

Vidushi Pruthvi Bhaskar, grand-daughter of renowned violinist of Mysore Vid. H.K. Narasimhamurthy, is well-versed in both  vocal and violin.

Vidwan H.S. Krishnamurthy hails from Hedatale village of Nanjangud taluk. He had his music training under Karnataka Kala Shree Vid. K.N. Krishnamurthy and is a B-high artiste of Akashvani and Doordarshan.

Vidwan V.S.  Ramesh of Mysuru is known as “Morching Ramesh”. He is a student of Vid.  late P.G. Lakshminarayan and is B-high grade artiste in mridanga and A-grade artiste in morching in Mysore Akashvani.
