Mysuru: The Annual Inter-College Volleyball Sports Meet of Genius Pre – University and First Grade College, Allanahalli Layout, Mysuru, was held at the College premises recently.
Venktesh, Physical Director, University of Mysore, T.S. Ravi, International Athlete, Institution President G. Prabhu, Principal & Secretary Surekha Prabhu, Vice-Principal Gagandeep and Director, CHAMUL, were present at the inauguration of the tournament. Totally 20 teams from various Colleges participated in the tournament.
In the degree level, Maharaja Government Degree College and Government First Grade College, Siddarthanagar, were in the finals and Maharaja Degree College won the tournament.
In PU level, JSS College, Ooty Road and Sarada Vilas Pre-University College were into the finals and JSS College won the first place.
Cash prize and trophy were awarded for both the winners by Surekha Prabhu, Secretary and Principal of Genius PU and FGC College.
All the teaching, non-teaching staff and participants from various Colleges were present.
