Wake up call to MCC

Sir,

When I travel from Saraswathipuram in an autorickshaw to Canara Bank near Ballal Circle (rarely it is called by its name as Ashoka Circle), usually I avoid using the diagonal road from Manuvana Park because it is full of potholes (this road has no name). I prefer travelling along New Kantharaj Urs Road as it has a better riding quality.

Sometimes even before I could instruct, the rickshawallah takes the diagonal route. Throughout, surface is broken up and the riding is full of jolts. I believe it was surfaced decades ago and it appears the  Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is blissfully unaware of the situation.

Sometimes some patchworks are done and usually it is a sloppy work and the riding becomes still worse. What is required is to completely scrape the surface and lay bitumen carpet layers fully compacted, finished with spreading stone dust and rolled.

The picture above is an indication of the road throughout its length. In fact, with  provision of good footpaths, suitable drainage and adding a few more flowering  trees on either side,  this short stretch of sloping road can be a showpiece. Will the concerned MCC authorities wake up and take note?
