Warriors thump Puneri Paltan

Bengal Warriors rode on Captain Maninder Singh’s stunning display to pick up a 43-23 win over Puneri Paltan at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium here yesterday.

Maninder scored his first Super 10 of Pro Kabaddi Season 7 and was well-supported by Mohammad Nabibakhsh (8 raid points) and Rinku Narwal (5 tackle points).

Thalaivas bow down to Pirates

In the other match, Patna Pirates picked up their second win of Season 7 after overcoming Tamil Thalaivas 24-23.

Both defences dominated proceedings, but Patna Pirates’ Jaideep shone the brightest with seven tackle points, including two Super Tackles.
