Water rate goes up for non-domestic users

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has revised drinking water tariff for non-domestic, industrial and commercial category consumers and the new rates will come into effect from Jan.1, 2021.

In a press release here, Gurudatta Hegde, Commissioner of MCC, has appealed to use water judiciously and also pay the bill before the due date. Residents with faulty meters and no water meters must immediately bring it to the notice of the Department concerned for immediate repair/new installation. Failing which, as per provision made by the Government of Karnataka, the MCC will collect an additional 25 percent to 50 percent on existing tariff, he added.
