Mysore/Mysuru: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, had organised a Webinar on “Art and Science of Engineering Product Designs” on Apr. 24.
Anantha Bhat, Founder and Managing Director, Chowki Services Private Limited, Bengaluru, who was the Resource Person, spoke about Learning through Read, Re read, Re format, re connect and Re tell. He stressed on the importance of Soft skills such as communication and time management as part of technical education which GSSSIETW has been inculcating among the students.
He instructed students to know the field in which they are good and work on enhancing their knowledge in the field of their interest to excel in life. He said that engineering design is an art and everyone can design in different way to get the best design for the problem to be solved.
Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, gave an overview of the focus towards engineering design for meeting today’s world technology requirements.
Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, presided. Dr. J. Jayanth, Associate Professor, Department of ECE, introduced the Resource Person. Dr. P. Raviraj, Professor, Department of CSE, welcomed. Dr. K.S. Gururaj, Professor, Department of CSE, proposed a vote of thanks.
