Excellent performances by weight-lifters of Basudeva Somani FGC enabled them to win the Overall Team Championship title in the men’s section with 18 points in the Inter-Collegiate Weight-lifting Championships-2018, conducted by the Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore (UoM), at the University Gymnasium Hall here recently.
Dilip of Govt. Autonomous College, Mandya (56kg), was adjudged as ‘The Best Lifter’ in the Championships.
