Mysuru: A welder, who was working at a house in Lakshmipuram here yesterday, died after being electrocuted.
The deceased has been identified as Ravi alias Siddappaji (35), a resident of Ramabai Nagar here.
Ravi was working at the house of one Jnanesh and was electrocuted when he accidentally stepped on a damaged power wire. Though he was rushed to a private hospital by fellow workers, he breathed his last after failing to respond to the treatment.
Lakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
