A few weeks back the service roads adjacent to the Ring Road were tarred much to the delight of citizens as they were complaining about the potholed service roads which were non-motorable.

But alas that delight is going to be short-lived as iron pipes are unloaded and kept linearly attached alongside the service road in front of Sa.Ra. Convention Hall in Kanakadasanagar.

Next the freshly tarred service road would be dug up to lay the iron pipes and leave the road in ugly condition. I don’t understand why the Departments concerned don’t coordinate with each other or is it a scam or scheme to allot road works again and again?

Whatever it is, it is a toll on the vulnerable tax-payers. If we cannot pre-plan all underground works in advance like the European countries at least we can plan to dig first and then tar the roads. God save our country from such irresponsible and senseless authorities.
