Mysuru: The following are the winners of the 16th Azeez Sait Memorial Quiz competition organised jointly by Farooqia High School Old Boys Association and Farooqia PU College Alumni Association at Sir Syed Hall of Farooqia College here recently.
Out of 224 students from 8th std to II PUC from various high schools and PU Colleges, 50 students got qualified for the oral quiz.
Prof. M. Sayeed Ahmed, Dr. Syed Abdul Khuddus, Abdul Jabbar, S. Ateeq Ahmed, Khalida Nusrath, R.H Basha, Sadiya Ghazla, Mohammed Baseerulla, Shavana Shabreen, Tabassum, Syeda Fathima Azra and Farha Zoya were the quiz masters for various classes and different rounds in this mega event.
The winners are: 8th Std: Hajira Banu of Farooqia School – 1st prize, Najmus Saher of Farooqia School – 2nd prize and Afsa Mehwish of Farooqia School – 3rd prize.
9th Std: Aaliya Siddiqua of Farooqia School – 1st prize, Sakeena Banu of Al-Karim School – 2nd prize and Simran Banu of Al-Karim School – 3rd prize.
10th Std: Md. Mustafa of RGA – 1st prize, Maseerah Fathima of Farooqia Girls School – 2nd and R. Rida Anjum of St. Marina – 3rd prize.
I PUC: Aman Afsal of Huda – 1st prize, Faizanuddin of Huda – 2nd and Md. Zaid also of Huda bagged the 3rd prize.
II PUC: Md. Farhan Ansari of St. Philomena’s College – 1st prize, Md. Fawaz of Farooqia college – 2nd and Md. Saquib of St. Philomena’s college- 3rd prize.
