Mysuru: As part of Teachers Day, Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) students committee — Library Initiative For Education (LIFE) — had organised Essay Competition for 6th and 7th standard students of Adarsha Vidyalaya on the topic ‘My Favourite Teacher’ at its premises in city recently.
Vignesh S. Goankar, Business Analyst, ISAC Business Consultancy, Bengaluru, who addressed the young students, called upon them to have strong communication skills to excel in public relationship and make themselves strong in basics. He further said: “never leave any opportunity which knocks your door as we don’t know when our life can take a turn towards success.”
Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition M.G. Eaktha (First prize) and L. Pratiksha (second Prize) of 6th Standard and K. Supriya Gowda (First Prize) and Prabhanjan (Second Prize) of 7th Standard.
School Head Master Sathish, Teachers, LIFE Committee Members, volunteers, Librarian Dr. M.V. Sunil and SDMIMD Admission Officer Rekha Ganapathy joined the prize distribution function.
