Mysuru: The students of Maharani’s Women’s Science College’s Fine Arts Club have bagged prizes in Inter-College Drama contest organised by Amarakala Sangha at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha in city recently.
The Charu team, who enacted the play ‘Mookutiya Muguti’ authored by Parwathavani have bagged the prizes. Kruthika V. Babu, Vishnavi R. Bhatt, Vinusha R. Gowda, N. Varshitha, M.C. Kavitha, P. Divya, R. Rachana, D. Sangitha, Divyashree, Sharvani S. Kundapur and K.M. Sandhya were part of the drama.
Prizes – Best Acting: Sheena-ppanayaka by Kruthika V. Babu (III B.Sc) and Sarasvathi Bai by Vishnavi R. Bhatt (III B.Sc). Best Direction: D. Sheela Kumari. For the second time the College has won Nagamma Rolling Shield.
