Mysuru: Maharshi Institutions conducted Inter-School Debate Contest in connection with its Silver Jubilee here recently.

Bhavani Shankar, Managing Trustee, presided. T. Lakshmi, Principal, Public School,  welcomed. K.R. Gopalaswamy, Sr. Principal, proposed a vote of thanks. Mahadevaswamy, Principal, PU College, briefed about Maharshi institutions.  

The following students bagged prizes in the contest:

Kannada Section: Megha Gowda, Acharya Vidya Kula – First Prize; Prajwal Prasad, Vijaya Vithala High School  – Second; C. Anagha, Maharshi Public School – Third Prize; Druthi, Mahajana School and Devini, Maharshi High School – Consolation Prizes.

English Section: S. Sukruth,  JSS Public School, SJCE Campus – First prize; Amana Saud, Police Public School – Second prize; S. Dhyan, Pramathi Public School – Third; Skanda, Maharshi Public School and Shreyas, Vijaya Vittala High School – Consolation Prizes.

At the valedictory, V. Girish, Head Master, welcomed. Vani-shree, Head Mistress,  proposed a vote of thanks. Kedarnath Bahu-sar, Treasurer and Usha Singh, Principal, Nursery School, were present.
