Prize distribution ceremony on Sept. 30

Following are the winners of NypunyaDasara Drawing Contest organised by Nypunya School of Excellence, Mysuru,  for school students in various categories:

Seniors (High School) Division: JuhiKumari, KNC Innovative Global School – 1st prize; C.P. Nikhita, Christ Public School – 2nd; B.C. Kishan, St. Joseph’s High School, Hunsur – 3rd. Juniors (Higher Primary) Division: H.P. Pavani, Capital Public School – 1st; S. Kshiti, St. Joseph’s Central School – 2nd; Dhruti V. Shah, St. Joseph’s Central School – 3rd.

Sub-Juniors (Lower Primary) Division: Prapti P. Shetty, Nypunya School of Excellence – 1st; Theerth B. Soni, BharatiyaVidyaBhavan (BVB) School – 2nd; U. TanikshaShetty, Ideal Jawa Rotary School – 3rd.

Masters (Kishora) Division: R. Mohit, Rotary Shishuvihar – 1st; P. Rachita, Christ Public School – 2nd; C. Sara Medappa, Nypunya School of  Excellence – 3rd.

More than 500 students from various schools had participated in the competition. Winners of the 1st prize in the three categories will be given cash prize along with NypunyaDasara Award. Others will get cash prize and certificate. Ten Consolation prizes will also be given in every category to encourage students.

The prizes will be distributed at a function to be held on Sept. 30 at 5 pm at RamaGovindaRangamandira in Ramakrishnanagar here. On the occasion, students of Nypunya School will stage the play ‘PanjaradaGini’ directed by theatre person K.R. Sumathi.
