Mysuru: Kaushik S. Nandan and Sachit C. Shetty, Grade X students of Kautilya Vidyalaya, Dattagalli, emerged Zonal Champions at the Prajavani Quiz Championship held at Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar auditorium at Senate Bhavan here recently.

More than 150 students of Grades 5 to 10 from more than 50 Schools across Mysuru, Mandya, Kodagu and Chamarajanagar districts participated in the competition.

Six teams reached the final round in which Kaushik and Sachit emerged winners. The duo will proceed to Bengaluru for the State finals to be held on Jan.24.

RESULTS: Kaushik S. Nandan and Sachit C. Shetty (Kautilya Vidyalaya) – Score: 108 – 1st place; Shashank and Balaji (Maharshi Public School) – Score: 100 – 2nd place; Ankith, Aneesh and Sudhanva (Excel Public School) – Score: 65 – 3rd place; Sathvik and Dhyan (Sadvidya High School – A) – Score: 40 – 4th place; Kishan and Aprameya (Sadvidya High School – B) – Score: 33 – 5th place and Yogeshwar and Uday (St. Joseph’s) – Score: 18 – 6th place.
