Wins Best Institution Award from NCC Karnataka and Goa

Suttur: The NCC Army unit of JSS High School, Suttur, has been accorded the ‘First Best Institution’ award by the NCC Karnataka and Goa for the year 2020. This is the fifth consecutive time that NCC Army unit of JSS High School is winning the award.

The NCC Army unit of the JSS High School, Suttur, was started in the year 2004. About 100 Cadets are being trained here every year. Many of them have participated in several activities including parade, singing, dance, sports, firing and have won prizes for the School. Many of them also have earned the credit of taking part in the Swachh Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Taal Sainik, Republic Day Parade, Trekking, Basic Leadership Camps and have brought laurels to the School.

The award was presented at a programme held on Feb.2 at Christ College in Bengaluru.

School Principal C.P. Nirmala received the award on behalf of the School from Deputy Director General Col. Lalit Kumar Jain.
