Lochan Lohith has won 1st place in Under 1000 Rating category (5-18 years) of Charlotte Online K-12 Championship Series (Online Chess Contest) organised by Charlotte Chess Centre and Scholastic Academy, North Carolina, on Aug. 29. A native of Mysuru, Lochan, son of Lohith and Chaithra, is currently studying in 4th standard at a Government School in North Carolina.
