M.V. Tanish Gowda, an 8th std. student of Vijaya Vittala School, who represented India at the International Karate Championship ‘Shorin Kai Cup-2022’ held in Dubai recently, has secured first prize in both Kata and Kumite categories.

Son of former Taluk Panchayat President Netravati Venkatesh of Maratikyatanahalli, Mysuru district, Tanish is trained under Kyoshi S. Sunil Kumar.
