Mysore/Mysuru: Anupama Rao was crowned as the winner of ‘Mrs. India Universe 2020-21 WORLD‘ in Platinum Category, conducted by the Mrs. India Universe Pageants. Now, she is selected for the Internationals.
A Mysurean, she was also crowned as the Most GLAMOROUS DIVA in the same platform.
The event was scheduled to take place abroad around two years ago but was held up due to Covid. It now took place in Goa, where all the 12 finalists from all over the world came together and the event was a grand success. A proud mother of a 20-year-old daughter, Anupama Rao works for State Bank of India (SBI).
A classical Bharatanatyam dancer, she has recently completed the Visharad exams conducted by the Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay Mandal, Mumbai and is a disciple of Gurus Badari Divya Bhushan and Dr. Anjana Bhushan of Bhushans’ Academy in Mysuru.
She also happens to be the title holder of ‘Mrs. Mysore Most Talented’ and ‘Best Performer in Mrs. India Karnataka Pagent 2019.’
She was recently awarded the NATYAKALA VIPANCHEE AWARD by the Griffin College of London, UK and the WOMAN ICON AWARD-2022 by ‘Mrs. India Karnataka’ for continued service & achievements in the field of Social Service and Fashion.
