B.R. Nitesh Singh has bagged a silver medal in the Under-14 State-level School Children’s Swimming Competition which was held on Oct 13. He has also won a silver medal in 100m butterfly competition organised by the Department of Public Instruction, Karnataka, at Basavanagudi Swimming Pool, Bengaluru and also he will represent Karnataka in the upcoming National Swimming Competition.

He is trained under P. Pavan Kumar at Global Sports Association in J.P. Nagar, Mysuru.

Nitesh Singh, an 8th standard student of DGTM Educational Institution, Chamundivana, Mysuru, is the son of B.R. Raghavendra Singh and Gayathri, residents of Chamundipuram.
