Mysore/Mysuru: Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD), Mysuru, in collaboration with Business Analytics Institute (BAI), France, had organised the Winter School on ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Good’ at SDM-IMD campus here recently.
The programme was attended by company executives and students selected from various European Universities. Besides students from Belgium, Switzerland, France and Ukraine, ten Indian students from SDM-IMD were selected.
The programme centred on the theme of “AI for Good”, entailed discussions on Ethical AI, AI for Social Good and a workshop on Machine Learning Tools. As part of this programme, the participants visited Dharmasthala and interacted with Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, about the Rural Development, Micro Finance, and Health Care Programmes of SDM Trust.
Resource persons for the programme included Dr. Lee Schlenker and Prof. Davy Cielen from Business Analytics Institute, Prof. Christian Hitz from Zurich University and Prof. Mohamed Minhaj from SDM-IMD.
Student and Faculty Exchange Programme between the two institutes concluded on Feb. 28.
