Woes of Bank Employees Colony residents

Sir,

I am a resident of Bank Employees Colony, off the Ring Road, Bogadi. Although the colony exists since more than two decades, there is only one good tarred main road where the city bus 69C plies from city market to Bapujinagar. The duration is one hour or sometimes even more .

I have two humble requests for the authorities concerned. First, one more city bus route has to be introduced for a short distance from Bapujinagar to Kuvempunagar complex. This will help the residents to a great extent since autorickshaws are very rare here.

Second, is the problem of garbage. We talk of making our Mysuru the cleanest city and how can that be achieved when proper garbage clearance facility is not there?

There are only three huge garbage bins in the Colony located in different places. As it becomes difficult to carry the loads of garbage to those bins, many residents freely throw heaps of filth in the vacant sites all around !

I hope the authorities concerned will do something to solve these problems and help the residents.
