Nanjangud: A 49-year-old woman, who had lost her son three months ago, was allegedly burnt alive.

During preliminary investigation, Lakshmi had not said a word to the Police about her mother-in-law Sanna Boramma was inside the house when the fire broke out, which gave rise to suspicion.
As Boramma’s mother Chikkathayamma lodged a complaint against Lakshmi and her parents, alleging that they had murdered her daughter, Biligere Police, who registered a case, have taken Lakshmi, Nanjundegowda and Shivamma into their custody for interrogation.
