Woman arrested, two gold chains recovered

Mysuru: A woman has been arrested on the charges of chain snatching  at KSRTC Sub-urban Bus Stand in the city and two gold chains weighing 56 grams worth Rs. 3.9 lakh have been recovered from her, by the Lashkar Police.

The woman was found moving suspiciously, when the Police were on patrolling duty at Sub-urban Bus Stand.

They detained her and took her to the Police Station and upon inquiry, learnt that she was adept at targeting woman and robbing their gold chains.

Acting under the guidance of DCP (Crime and Traffic) S. Jahnavi and ACP (Devaraja Sub-Division) Shanthamallappa, the Police team led by Lashkar Inspector K.R. Prasad cracked the cases.

The Police team included Sub-Inspectors M. Radha and Anil Kumar Vannoora, staff Suresh, Ravikumar, Girish, Manjunath, Chowdappa Pasigara, Abdul Rehman, Chikkanna Swamy and                                      Ashwini Halawara.
